The weeks before having holidays, the school worked on St. Valentine's throughout plants!! We learnt a lot!!
Every class worked on different characteristics of the plants in all the subjects. In Spanish they discovered new words related to plants or they wrote a dictation about plants. In Maths they calculated the parts of a garden by using sections, they measured their own plants they planted in Science or they resolved plant problems with divisions. In Science they studied the parts of a plant, they planted seeds or studied the Water Cycle. In Music they sang a song about plants. In English they prepared some friend's descriptions and wrote St. Valentine's cards for their friends, teachers or families. Finally, in Art they prepared a final proyect related to their topic.
We really had fun learning about plants in a different way!!
