Hi, you all! This Halloween we couldn't have our famously scary Hall of terror, but we asked the children to describe their spooky costumes... and this is the result!

We also had two contests in the 5th & 6th grades, giving prices to the three best Terror stories in Spanish and to the best short scary story in English, per class.

Katherine's goodbyes (Despedida de Katherine)

Katherine decided to stay here for the summer and continue her adventure in Spain. She didn´t go back to the USA.
She is not going to be with us next year though, because she has been assigned to another school in Alhaurín. Nevertheless, we wish her all the luck in the world! You will be missed!

2. Pip was smaller than the other dogs.
3. The class was very difficult for her.
4. Sometimes her teacher tripped and fell down.
5. But Pip didn't give up, and little by little, she improved.
6. The teacher was very proud of Pip.
7. One day after school, Pip saw a blind woman who needed help.
8. Pip ran to her and helped her.
9. Great job, Pip! You saved the day!

5-Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies

Today I made an American classic, CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. Very delicious!

5 Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe Ingredients: (CONTIENE NUECES)

* If you are allergic to nuts, sunflower butter may be an option. 

• 240g nut butter (peanut, almond, cashew) 
• 60g sugar 
• 1 egg 
• 90g chocolate 
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 

Instructions: 

1. Mix everything except the chocolate together in a bowl. 
2. Cut the chocolate into pieces. 
3. Mix with the rest. 
4. Shape cookies 
5. Put in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

St.Valentine's Day

This 14th of February we wanted to do something special.... Our own love post box... 💖💕💝
With the incredible help of our language assistants, Saveen and Katherine, we could deliver love everywhere in our school. There were hundreds of letters in English and Spanish, to show appreciation for others. It was so beautiful to see those little faces receiving them. They were so excited!! 👏👏

Carnival

This year's carnival was based on our annual project, The Olympic games of Music and Culture, and for that reason, every class chose a different country to investigate and dress up as. Then we went on a parade around the town for the first time ever! 👏👏.

Christmas carols and find someone who

Just before Christmas he 6th year students enjoyed a Christmas Carol exhibition at the high school (IES Jarifa) in which they also participated and exchanged Christmas cards with their mates in the 1st year of ESO. Later, they played a communicative game, "Find someone who", together as part of this term intercentre activities. What a good way to get into the Christmas spirit!
